Inaugural Austrian Airlines flight to LA on April 10

090 - Austrian Airlines AirbusA319The maiden flight of Austrian Airlines to the US west coast will begin in just a few days on April 10. Flights will be operated six times a week to Vienna, Austria, using a Boeing 777 aircraft.

Inaugural flight OS 81 will land at Tom Bradley International Airport in Los Angeles at 1:30 pm on Monday, April 10. Then at 2:30, boarding will begin for flight OS 82 to Vienna.
Not only is this opening up a direct pathway between Southern California and Austria, but it also opens up for the airline all of Europe, including Central and Eastern Europe.

Austrian Airlines is Austria’s largest carrier and operates a global route network of approximately 130 destinations, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe with 37 destinations.

Thanks to its favourable geographical location at the heart of Europe, the company’s hub at Vienna International Airport is an ideal connectivity between East and West.

Incidentally, Austrian Airlines is part of the Lufthansa Group, Europe’s largest airline group, and a member of the Star Alliance, the first global alliance of international airlines.
