The IndiGo flight 6E 024 initially took off from Dubai airport and it was heading towards the Indira Gandhi international airport in the Indian capital city, Delhi. Right after the flight took off, the passenger started to get violent and also refused to follow the in-flight security protocols.
According to the witnesses, the man also threatened the crew members of the IndiGo flight, which forced them to contact the chief pilot of the jet. The commander in chief gave permission to overpower and tie the passenger to his seat in order to ensure the safety of the other passengers and the crew members.
After the flight landed at the Delhi airport, the CISF had to detain the unruly passenger. The man was later handed over to the police in Delhi, where an alcohol test was conducted on him to know whether he was under the influence of alcohol or not.
