Here’s something to amuse and ‘Inspire’ the tech savvy travellers who thrive in digital games. The US-based Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (MGTA) has entered into a deal with Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) who is building a gateway entertainment city ‘Inspire’, in the grounds of the largest airport of South Korea.
This will be an integrated resort which will assume to grow as a must visit destination and will immensely contribute to the dynamic economy of South Korea, felt Bobby Soper, president of MTGA.
It will be a fully serviced resort built on a 3. 2 sq km land of the IIAC. With a huge retail outlet of 18,500 sq m and luxury tower hotel with 1000 rooms, the complex will have a Korean Village area, film studio, 20,000-pax capacity entertainment arena, sports arena, casino of 18,500 sq m, sprawling theme park of 18,500 sq m with 12 outdoor attractions. The entire complex will be linked to a new private jet terminal making it the only integrated resort in the world to own an air strip.
Inspire will position itself as a leading airport in the world offering top luxury attractions feels the president and CEO of IIAC, Park Wan-su. He also felt that with the experience of MGTA and going by their track record, Korea is definitely headed for a flourishing economic boom through tourism. Inspire will create opportunities for 24,000 jobs and it is being thought that the complex will contribute direct foreign investments of US$1.6 billion in its first phrase to the country.
