From June 26-28, 2015, the International Arts and Music Festival at Peace Arch Park in Blaine, WA will present a diverse array of art collections created by artists from the Pacific Northwest and as far as Idaho and Montana. Unique sculptures, paintings, visual arts, textiles and more will be available for sale to guests from both sides of the border. This is a free admission event and includes access to the Art show and to the entertainment.
In 2015 the entertainment will be highlighted by local bands and well-renowned international musicians like Canada’s premier Celtic band Tiller’s Folly, world music with Millie & the Mentchn, Native American singer J.P. Falcon, British Blues and Pop singer Lord Knapp, the festive Latin rhythms of Sabrina y los Reyes and a special presentation by Ocheami who will delight the guests with African dances and storytelling events.
Maintaining its boutique style, the International Arts and Music Festival will be catered by C.A.T.C.H Culinary, bringing gourmet delicacies like smoked salmon plate, heirloom tomatoes gazpacho and Spanish beef brisket among other delights. Samson Estates Winery is once again bringing their locally made artisan wines to the festival and creating the perfect pair with the gourmet food. For those who prefer the refreshing flavors of beer, this year Aslan Brewing Company is joining the celebrations, bringing their 100% USDA Certified organic beer.
