The Terrace at Bar Boulud
Bar Boulud is delighted to announce that alfresco dining will be available this summer on its new outdoor terrace along Boylston Street.
Inspired by the South of France’s Mediterranean coast, Chef de Cuisine, Aaron Chambers has created a new seasonal menu that features fresh local produce, bright seasonal vegetables and family-style dishes to share amongst the table. Fresh organic ingredients such as fiddleheads, fava beans and ramps serve as the foundation for many of these shared summer dishes including: Fritto Misto ruby shrimp, clams, squid and market vegetables served with a spring garlic aïoli, Ricotta Fouetté whipped sheep’s milk ricotta served with wild herb olive oil, Rillette de Lapin rabbit confit served with olive oil, smoked sundried tomatoes and green olives, Tartine d’Oursins de Mer Maine sea urchin served with a citrus butter, guanciale and brioche and Risotto de Saison served with wild ramps, fiddleheads, porcini mushrooms and local ricotta.
The full terrace menu will be available daily beginning on June 1, 2015 from 12 noon to 10 p.m.
Back Bay Rosé, Uncorking this Summer
Nothing pairs better with summer than a crisp rosé. To celebrate the season, Bar Boulud’s Sommelier, Joe Camper, has partnered with Domaine de Triennes, a family-operated winery 115 acres south of Aix en Provence, to create the Back Bay Rosé. Made in traditional Provençal style, this wine is dry, zesty and aromatic. It has been custom-bottled by hand in three-liter bottles, ready to be poured this summer exclusively at Bar Boulud.
