Winter is approaching, yet the only thing that doesn’t change with the season in Alexandria is the passion for seafood. Alexandrian-style Mediterranean seafood cuisine is one of the cultural highlights of the city that invites guests to experience it as part of their visit.
With freshly caught fish served daily, Kala restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano opens its doors every Thursday starting December 8, 2016 for its Seafood Wonder Kitchen buffet from 7:00 pm until 12:00 midnight.
In this buffet, Seafood Wonder Kitchen chefs will present the finest cuisine featuring carefully selected fish and shellfish along with mouth-watering dishes from all over the world in addition to Alexandrian cuisine such as the special local dish sayadia with fish and rice.
Guest will find famous dishes such as shrimp curry soup from India, sashimi from Japan, octopus salad from Greece, and from Italy, seafood risotto, black ink pasta and salmon in puff pastry. In addition, the buffet will present more dishes to experience from places such as Spain, Mexico and Asia.
For wine lovers, a selection of the finest wines and champagne will also be available. Kala staff are happy to make recommendations based on the weight and substance of the fish and seafood, such as lighter white wines with delicate fish, pinot noir with salmon, or tuna with merlot. When in doubt, champagne is always a good choice.
