During the 2nd Business Roundtable, before the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela, Fitven 2020, to be arranged from May 14 to 17 in La Guaira state, the minister explained that over 300 companies related to the leisure sector see the country as a prime opportunity to invest.
These expressions of interest illustrates that Venezuela, even in the middle of the economic blockade, is still considered as a nation with creativity and success in the whole world, Plasencia said.
Scheduled until Thursday at the Venetur Alba Caracas Hotel, the 2nd Business Round Table is targeted to open up new spaces for tourist investment meetings of the productive sectors, with national and international entrepreneurs, the Venezuelan News Agency reported.
The agency highlighted that Fitven 2020 has all the possibilities to sign billions of dollars in strategic agreements and alliances in the tourism industry.
The Business Round Table attracted the investors from hotel construction industry, travel agencies, recreation transport, airlines, with an intention to draw investments and encourage the productivity of the leisure industry in the country.
