The plan envisages $25-$30 billion in revenue per year, Massoud Soltanifar added. Calling on the domestic and international investors to cooperate with the government for developing Iran’s tourism sector, he vowed support for Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to invest in Iran.
Elaborating on the measures taken to draw the attention of tourists to the country, he said Iranian government has facilitated visa regime and launched projects for the construction of new hotels. “Several projects for constructing hotels in historical and religious cities are underway,” he added.
