At one of India’s largest travel shows, OTM, which started at the Bombay Exhibition Center from today, the J & K Tourism Department has showcased the state’s ethereal scenic beauty. The J & K tourism is also one of the participants at the show and has decorated its space nicely for attracting visitors from round the globe.
At the OTM held in Mumbai each year, over 10,000 trade visitors from around 50 countries attend the event. J & K’s tourism department has received overwhelming response from visitors at the event, where products and culture from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh were significantly showcased. Director Tourism Kashmir, Mahmood A Shah interacted with the visitors.
He urged visitors to come to Kashmir to experience heaven on earth, and that it is good for visiting in all seasons. On the sidelines of the Exhibitions, J&K also participated in a workshop on films titled “Shoot-at-Sight” in which the department of tourism highlighted the film shooting potential in the state. Vice Chairman, JKTDC, Mohammad Rafi Mir urged filmmakers to visit Kashmir for film shoots.
