JA Ocean View Hotel, the latest beach facing property under the JA Resorts & Hotels banner,will celebrate its first 12 months of operational success and the UAE’s National Day, with a special themed tribute to Emirati culture and heritage.
Guests and residents visiting the popular four-star hotel, which was recognised as the ‘Middle East’s Leading New Hotel’ at the 2013 World Travel Awards, will enter an Arabian-inspired setting with the hotel’s outdoor atrium transformed into a heritage village called Emirati 42.“The UAE’S 42nd operation. By featuring a tribute to Emirati culture, in a traditional Arabic setting, our guests will experience the best of both worlds, past and present, highlighting the remarkable progress made by the UAE,” said Otto Kurzendorfer, General Manager, JA Ocean View Hotel.
National Day is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our first year of Running for two weeks from 20th of the hotel entrance will be decorated in eye-catching Arabian style with Arabic coffee, plump dates and honeyed sweets offered on arrival; leading into the heritage village experience which features a traditional majlis (central meeting place), mini souvenir souk displaying local handicrafts and artworks in addition to henna artists, always a favourite with the ladies.
“Our outdoor atrium will become a multimedia centre with five television screens showing the latest documentary and promotional films highlighting Dubai’s rise to global rominence, alongside a dedicated gallery section showcasing vintage black and white images of the city,” said Kurzendorfer.
