A Japanese theme park has combined the idea of a theme park with relaxing hot springs to give a unique experience to their visitors. The plan of the theme park has been revealed by the authorities of the spa resort city of Beppu, placed in the Japanese island of Kyushu.
The promotional video has been uploaded on YouTube, where the Mayor Yasuhiro Nagano of the southern Japanese island of Kyushu, has promised that they will start building the theme park if the video gets more than one million views.
The video has been filmed at the Beppu Rakutenchi Park, where guests can be seen to walk around the amusement park, barefoot! The park includes rides like cable cars, roller coasters, Ferris wheels and carousels but there is a twist. The rides have been modified with built-in hot spring tubs for the riders to soak in. The gaming area of the park has also been modified to use as a steam room.
After the video received almost two million views, the Mayor has formally promised to construct the new theme park.
The exact date of completion could not be known yet but the Mayor has informed in a formal statement that the Yu-enchi onsen amusement park would be a thrilling tourist spot that could represent Beppu.
