The show’s comprehensive nature allows participants to seek multiple solutions and partnerships through the 12 exhibitions, and is really becoming of indispensable quality. Portraying the needs of the industry, the show has been growing in scale as well as becoming diversified.
Numerous members of Diet Member Caucus attended to the show and the representative made an opening speech at the VIP Reception, which gathered more than 300 executives involved in IoT, M2M, embedded systems and related fields.
Takeo Kawamura, Chairman, Diet Member Caucus comments: “I have visited the exhibitions, and I was impressed to see everyone doing business seriously, and I am happy to be invited to such a mega event. Recently, interactive network connection technology such as IoT has developed rapidly, and it is necessary for the embedded industry to respond to the requirements. However, comparing with IIC in USA and Industry 4.0 developed in Germany, I have to say we are still in a catch up stage. Because we feel it necessary to accelerate cooperation between government and private sector to develop the Japanese embedded industry, we created a diet member caucus. To make policy proposals, we wish to make the most of this party to listen to your real voices.”
The chairman of the show’s Conference Committee Kiichiro Tamaru, International-Promotion Agency Japan also made a note before delivering a toast: “Especially this year, the new technology: IoT gathers huge attention from the industry. Embedded technology is the key technology to develop “connected devices” which is necessary for connected world by IoT. As Japan IT Week has 11 shows held together, I hope the combination between these IT technologies will accelerate the further development of the embedded technology, and can contribute to your business expansion.
