Jet Airways featured amongst the top 200 most influential brands in the world

jet-airwaysJet Airways, India’s full-service, premier international airline, has been featured as one of the Top 200 Most Influential Brands in the World by Richtopia, a leading digital platform covering a mix of valuable content on success, future investments, new technologies, work and life balance, inspirational people, finance and economics.


The listing is especially significant, as India’s full-service premier international airline is the only ‘Indian’ brand to feature in the listing. Ranked 109, Jet Airways rubs shoulders with leading global brands including only 15 airlines from across the globe that have earned a spot on the list.


The Top 200 list comprises influential global brands that are effective, in addition to, having soft-power and pro-active, particularly in the digital sphere.

In less than a decade, Jet Airways has emerged as one of India’s most active, engagement-driven airline brand on social media. It has the biggest social media following amongst all Indian airlines with over 2.9 million followers. The airline has several digital innovations to its credit having launched a host of initiatives focused on enhancing guest experience including ‘Fare Lock’, ‘#JetInstant’, and its unique, digitally-led, in-flight entertainment system – JetScreen.


Richtopia’s list is an automatic algorithm based on social media influence, Klout scores and other parameters. It takes into account various metrics from Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia, Youtube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Following these brands enables one to keep up with trends.
