JetBlue makes emergency landing after cockpit fills with smoke

JetblueAn aircraft of JetBlue was compelled to make an emergency landing in New Jersey yesterday after its cockpit was filled with smoke suddenly.

 

Jim Peters, the spokesperson with the Federal Aviation Administration said that flight 1443 had no choice but to announce an emergency. Thereafter, it had to land at Atlantic City International Airport after it took off around 9 a.m. on Wednesday from Newark Liberty International Airport, as per a reputed news media report.

 

The passengers of this aircraft had been heading towards West Palm Beach in Florida.

 

They were stuck while they were waiting at the airport till another plane arrived on Thursday morning, as per the media. The flight eventually was able to arrive in Florida around 8.30 a.m.

 

There were no injuries that were reported. The authorities are currently investigating the incident.
