Vinod Zutshi, IAS retired former Secretary Tourism Government of India inaugurated the event.
Assistant Director Pahalgam Bilal Ahmad Mir, Tourists’ officer Jammu Parikshit Sharma and an official from Delhi Basharat Ahmad represented J&K tourism during the 3-day travel mart. In the event, J&K showcased its rich culture, heritage, art and craft besides its landscape. The short movies recently shot by the department of the tourism Kashmir were also screened to attract tourists to Kashmir.
The J&K stall received good response from travellers who wished to visit Kashmir. The officials interacted with the travel agents for encouraging them to promote newly developed destinations in the state.
