Aiming to highlight Jordan’s main attractions in China, the Kingdom is set to participate in the First World Conference on Tourism for Development Wednesday to be held in Beijing. The Jordanian delegation will be headed by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al Fayez.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Al-Fayez said this event is important in terms of promoting Jordanian tourism in China, as one of the world’s biggest tourist countries, attract Chinese tourist investments and promote Jordanian tourism globally.
The ministry said this conference is an opportunity to hold meetings with Chinese tourism officials and conduct interviews with tourism, travel, hotels and aviation agents to discuss mutual cooperation and set tourist programs for traveling to the Kingdom.This event will see the participation of Arab and international tourism ministers as well as the UNWTO Secretary-General.
The event is jointly organized by the Chinese government, the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA).
