Latitude 33 a chic resort-style poolside bar and restaurant, named after Casablanca’s geographic location, is now open to guests at Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca. The al fresco dining terrace located next to the pool offers a menu specialising in ethnic specialities that were inspired by different countries residing on the 33rd parallel. Guests can also sip on refreshing cocktails while enjoying the sounds of chill lounge music.
The restaurant’s design includes traditional Moroccan moucharabieh lattice sceens, a dramatic open pavilion that houses a glowing circular bar, and in-floor lighting that creates the impression of a lantern. Black furniture contrasts with the white and cream lounge seating outside the pavilion. Guests can enjoy a large water feature set by the pool while listening to the sounds of the Atlantic waves.
Open daily for lunch from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm, the menu takes diners on a culinary journey from the Southwest US with specialities such as prawn quesadilla inspired from New Mexico and pecan pie from Alabama, to some Middle Eastern classics such as assorted mezze, falafel or local fried sardines. The menu also embraces the Asian culture with mouth-watering dishes such as stir fried beef “Chinese style” salad or chicken tandoori wrap. Another highlight will be the grill menu, where guests can choose from an assortment of skewers that they can cook to their liking using a provided individual grill, accompanied by a selection of sides and finely seasoned sauces. Gourmet sandwiches, salads as well as international desserts and homemade ice creams complete the dining experience.
