Kerr left Etihad in October after serving for seven-years to join as the chief executive of British all-cargo carrier Cargo Logic Air in January.
Carr has 20-years of logistics experience to the role after entering the industry in 1995 as an asset manager in Durban at Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC).
He later served different shipping and logistics companies before joining UTi in 2006 as a general manager.
He became the regional customer manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2011 with DHL.With this he moved from South Africa to Dubai.
Andre Blech will be the new head of cargo delivery, a seven year veteran of the company and will be responsible for end-to –end cargo operations.
Earlier Mr Blech was the cargo analyst for the Abu Dhabi Airports Company. Roberto Gilardoni will be reporting to Mr Carr, he will be holding the position of senior manager of freighters and commercial expanded to include the customer management and industry verticals.
Gilardoni is an industry veteran who started his career in the mid-90s taking the position of the operations duty manager for DHL Aviation in Italy.
He left the integrator in 2005 taking over as the managing director f Bresica Airport before joining Cargoitalia in 2009 as commercial director.
In November 2014 he relocated to Abu Dhabi to join Etihad post a two-year spell at Heavyweight Air Express.
