The events will showcase the stunning Indian state, which has been ranked in the top 10 paradises in the world by National Geographic, and highlight why it is the ultimate destination for travellers from Australia and New Zealand.
With the Arabian Sea in the west, the Western Ghats (some 500-2700m high) in the east and a network of 44 rivers ensuring it is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Asia.
Blessed with an abundance of unique geographical features, Kerala is home to unspoilt beaches with a 600 km stretch of coastline in addition to a network of innumerable lagoons, lakes, estuaries and canals. Rolling green hills are punctuated with tea plantations and waterfalls sure to please everyone from honeymooners to adventurists.
The state is known for both its incredible holistic medicine called Ayurveda which was used by Keralites for many years before the world caught on to its magic, as well as its abundance of wildlife, in the form of elephants, sambar deers, leopards, sloth bears, tigers, and wild boars.
Cuisine is also a major attraction with strong flavours marked by the liberal use of coconut, evident in the traditional feast, the sadya. Served on a plantain leaf and eaten with the hand, the sadya is a three-course meal, including a variety of up to 40 vegetarian delights.
Kerala offers not just a bounty of unparalleled natural attractions, but a world of peace and serenity. That makes an experience in Gods Own Country truly out-of-this-world.
Attendees will have the chance to meet with Kerala hoteliers and operators for first-hand knowledge, as well as the chance to win a spectacular seven night holiday for two to Kerala.
