For the first time ever, Rwanda is about to greet and host World Travel Awards. The Africa Gala Ceremony 2017 will be organized in Kigali, the flourishing capital of Rwanda on October 10th of this year.
Spread across many beautiful valley and hillsides, Kigali is famous for its cleanliness and friendly people. It is debatably one of the most attractive capitals of Africa. The location of Kigali at the centre of Rwanda, also makes it a perfect base for exploration.
To quote Graham Cooke, World Travel Awards President and Founder, “It will be an honour for the World Travel Awards to visit Rwanda for the first time, later this year. The heart of Africa, Rwanda has become rightfully known for its spectacular scenery – think thundering waterfalls, towering mountains and virgin rainforests – and rare wildlife. This is a fantastic opportunity for Rwanda to claim its rightful place as Africa’s rising star.”
Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre would be the hosting the World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony 2017. This five star hotel and convention center houses the first convention centre in Rwanda. It can accommodate up to 5,000 delegates – alongside the Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF) and AviaDev Africa (10-12 October).
The most important hotel investment conference that unites best business leaders across the overseas and local markets, attracting investment into tourism, infrastructure and hotel development all through Africa, AHIF is attended by some of the stalwarts of international hotel investors of any conference in Africa.
