Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii resembles a smiley

Kilauea VolcanoThe Kilauea Volcano that is located in Hawaii looks as if it is grinning as the lava inside the volcano keeps breaking through the surface. This is a spectacular sight that would make anybody smile.


Ever since the year 2013, this is the first time that one of the lava flows of Kilauea have reached the Pacific Ocean. The sight of the reed-hot lava cascading off the cliffs on the Big Island of Hawaii presents an extraordinary sight.


During the latter part of May, the lava from this volcano that is present in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park began erupting. Thereafter, it has been steadily moving towards the coast in a six-mile journey.


Authorities have informed the people of the towns that the volcano is not dangerous to the towns nearby. However, they have cautioned tourists to maintain a safe distance from the volcano.


But then, tourists seem to have ignored this warning. This is because they have been going ahead to click pictures and watch the spectacle of the erupting volcano.


A news agency has said that Kilauea is among the most active volcanoes in the entire world. It also said that due to this reason, people have been turning up in large numbers to catch sight of the volcano in boat tours.
