Korea will conduct Canai Global Group incentive event in November

Canai_Incentive_TravelKorea is ready to welcome as many as 400 international employees of Hong Konf-based multinational retail company Canai later this month for corporate events and travel.

 

Furthermore about 2,600 staff members would attend this event in this nation next year.

 

The arrivals come after a successful bid that is believed to host the global group’s overseas incentive trip by the Korea MICE Bureau (KMC) division of the Korea Tourism Organization. A total of 1,400 Canai employees would be present at Seoul’s Grand Intercontinental Coex Hotel that is located in Gangnam on 29th November.

 

This overseas contingent hails from countries like Taiwan, Singapore, the US, Malaysia and other countries.

 

Apart from declaring new company products this event is slated to include a employee fashion show. Besides the participants would also be capable of enjoying a vast range of Korean-theme cultural entertainment, thanks to the KMB. This is inclusive of a taekwondo demonstration, drum dance and other conventional Korean performances.

 

Accommodation would be offered in both Seoul and its surrounding province of Gyeonggi Province.

 

Employees would also pay visit to popular attractions in both locations including Bukchon Hanok (traditional Korean house) Village, the new Lotte World Tower complex, island resort Namiseom and the new Soyang Lake, transparent as ‘Sky Walk’ in Chuncheon City, among others.

 

The Canai incentive event of next year would be hosted in Busan that is the largest port city of Korea and a regular recipient of overseas incentive visitors with past corporate visitors comprising Infinitus and Amway.

 

The marketing initiatives of KMB plans to secure the event that also included a Korea MICE Roadshow in Taipei past July.

 

This event had been hosted along with the Seoul Tourism Organization and also as joint activities with the Busan Tourism Organization.

 

The official figures for the number of incentive travellers to Korea in 2017 as of September (excluding the Chinese corporate visitors) is estimated at 139,122 indicating a rise of about 40.1% over that time last year.

 

Kapsoo Kim who is the KMB Executive Director mentioned that the successful Kanai bid portrays the continuous Bureau efforts to boost Korea’s inbound business events market.
