The flight 2708 to Seoul from Haneda Airport was evacuated after an engine fire broke out on the Boeing 777-300.
Seven injuries were reported, two men and five women. The left side engine was wrapped in smoke as two fire trucks blanketed the engine covering the side with white foam. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire in an hour. The cause of the fire is not known yet. Emergency chutes could be seen to have been deployed from the plane’s doors.
All flights from the airport were delayed. There was a huge crowd on the runway as people gathered to see what was happening.
