Kuwait Pavilion at Milan Expo 2015 attracts 4 lakh visitors

Expo MilanoUp to 400,000 people have visited the Kuwaiti Pavilion, held under the name of “Challenge of Nature” at Expo Milan 2015, since it was inaugurated, an official said.

 

Deputy head of the pavilion, Mazen Al-Ansari, told KUNA that, he was very glad for this high turnout of visitors, whose number hit 10,000 daily.

 

He and the head of pavilion celebrated the visitor number 400,000, an Italian, who came with his child, to get acquainted closely with the distinguished culture and heritage of Kuwait, that are shown at the pavilion.

 

Al-Ansari expressed his pride, as visitors of different nationalities and varying ages are attracted by Kuwaiti cultural heritage, especially traditional clothing, saying, they were keen to acquire souvenirs of the State of Kuwait.

 

Admiration shown on the faces of visitors when touring the pavilion is a “better title of Kuwait’s cultural message at this international event,” he noted.

 

He unveiled that, events on the holy month of Ramadan will be held in the upcoming days as part of media, cultural and recreational activities of the pavilion.

 

The pavilion sheds light on the heritage of Islamic, Arab and Gulf countries, mainly the key achievements of Kuwait in all different fields.
