“On January 30, 2020, the Director-General of the World Health Organization decided to declare a public health emergency of international concern in connection with the outbreak of coronavirus in the People’s Republic of China. Considering this, our Department decided to refuse to participate in the ITB China Travel Trade Show, which will be held in Shanghai (China) on May 13-15, 2020,” the statement reads.
Kyiv City State Administration has proposals to recompense for the denial to participate in the ITB China by taking part in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) international travel and tourism event. In Dubai, it will last from April 19 to April 22, 2020.
From 153 countries of the world, in total of about 2,500 exhibitors will participate in Arabian Travel Market, including 60 national travel agencies from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Southern and Central Africa, the USA and Southeast Asia, and about 28,000 influential figures of the tourism industry.
