Lansdowne Hotel, Belfast has temporarily shut its doors as it undergoes a renovation to attract more guests.
The Lansdowne Hotel is located on the Antrim Road. It is expected to be shut for several weeks to allow restoration work to be completed.
There are several news on the social media expressing the concern that the closure of the hotel was permanent. But the hotel moved to dispel fears by clarifying that it was to enable a refurbishment.
In May 2012, Lansdowne Hotel has shut suddenly after going into administration but re-opened later the same year after being bought over by current owner Metro Inns, which operates seven other hotels in England and Scotland.
