China’s TourismIn China the government acts fast the moment it seems things are going out of hand. It’s been three days since the Tiananmen Square terror attack killed five and injured 38. There is barely any trace of the massacre left at the site as it has been cleared and the iconic tourist site is back to normal. On Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry also criticized the attack, calling it inhumane and anti-society.

Government spokesperson Hua Chunying criticised a specific Xinjiang extremist organisation – branded a terrorist group by the UN and life is back on tracks unlike many other countries.

“East Turkistan’s terror group set up the so called Republic of East Turkistan in Xin Jiang Uygur Autonomous Region, aiming to separate the region from China. They’ve even hooked up with international terror organisations and planned terrorist attacks in China to damage the stability of Chinese society. We hope the international community can have a clear view on that. We also hope the media can remain reasonable and objective while reporting such incidents.” Hua said.
