Le Meridien Gurgaon appointed Kunal Dewan as the new Director of Sales & Marketing for its 285 room property at MG Road, Delhi-Gurgaon border.The announcement was made recently by the General Manager, David Hopcroft. He said, “I am pleased to welcome Mr. Kunal Dewan as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Le Meridien Gurgaon. He has proven leadership skills& extremely successful last assignment as a DOSM at Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. I am looking forward to his contribution here as he is indeed a valuable addition to the leadership team. I wish him the very best”.
Kunal has been associated with Starwood Hotels & Resorts since December 2011 and has over 10 years of experience with leading hospitality brands such as Le Parker Meridien Hotel, New York, U.S.A, The Oberoi Group of Hotels & Resorts. He has established his position in the industry with his knowledge, international exposure and passion to drive sales activities & promotions.
Kunal is known for his understanding of International Sales & Marketing. With remarkable administration skills and leadership qualities, Kunal’s proficiency lies in aligning & engaging field sales efforts, achieving goals and leading events. Prior to being appointed the Director of Sales at Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Park, Kunal was a Manager at Starwood Sales Organization.
With a certificate of honor, Kunal holds a post graduate degree in International Hospitality Management from Les Roches, School of Hotel Management, Crans-Montana, Switzerland. He qualified for the Asia Pacific Incentive trip by Starwood to Australia as he exceeded an overall target achievement in the first year with the company itself.
On his appointment at this one year old property, Kunal said, “In my stint with Starwood I have learned a lot and am honored to have been trusted and to be appointed as the Director of Sales& Marketing at Le Meridien Gurgaon.
