Eric Beaumard, Director of Restaurants and award-winning sommelier of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, will soon be switching the city for the tropics, as he prepares to host an exclusive wine dinner at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles on February 26, 2016.
With a newly published book entitled Les Vins de Ma Vie, Eric Beaumard, working alongside the Resort’s chefs, will create a menu that combines a chosen selection of wines from his book with some of his all-time favourites. Taking place in the Resort’s Zez Restaurant, guests will be welcomed by a glass of Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2004 for an evening that will see pairings with local kingfish, duck raviolo and wagyu tenderloin as part of a five course set menu that will be led by Beaumard himself.
Working with Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris since the Hotel opened its doors after refurbishment in 1999, Beaumard has built a formidable reputation in the industry as one of the world’s leading sommeliers, having created the Hotel’s famous Wine Cellar that houses more than 50,000 bottles, launching Le Cinq restaurant and now producing his own Beaumes de Venise wine from a 15-hectare (37 acre) vineyard.
Priced at EUR 300 per person, the wine dinner will take place on February 26, 2016, as from 7:00 pm. Beginning with a cocktail aperitif in Zez Lounge, guests will move to the Restaurant for the five course wine-pairing dinner, where Eric Beaumard will introduce each course and offer his expert insights into the full flavours and aromas of the wines and the complementary pairings.
