LetoLeto Water Park, the largest indoor water park in Russia, has opened in the city of Tyumen. Turkey-based Polin Waterparks along with local investment group Sibentel Holding worked on the 10,000-sq-m facility, which features exhilarating slides as well as mineral spring baths and a hotel.
Many years ago, Polin opened an office in Russia to specifically to cater to the country’s growing water park industry. The company has supplied waterslides to Gorki Indoor Waterpark and H2O Aquapark. Polin has supplied LetoLeto Water Park with more than 10 water slides, including three of its most popular ones: Turbolance, Windigo and Magic Hole.
Key attractions at this newly opened water park include:
• Over 1km of water slides with the most extreme reaching a height of 21m
• 750-sq-m wave pool with four programmable modes
• 570-cubic-m Lazy River with 3 kms per hour flow speed
• 1,300-sq-m children’s area
The water park can host up to 2,500 guests. There is a four-star hotel nearby with a gourmet restaurant. Both the hotel and the water park have easy accessibility for people with disabilities.
At the opening ceremony, Alexander Moore, acting governor of the Tyumen region, said: “I am sure that it will become one of the most favourite places for family recreation and will turn into a point of attraction for tourists from other regions of the country. The government of the Tyumen region creates comfortable conditions for investors in all areas of our economy and the creation of an aqua park is yet another confirmation of the correctness of such a strategy.”
