Paula Oliveira, the Executive Director, Turismo de Lisboa said that the city is proud of the different awards that it has received in the last few years. She also said that the latest award is an appreciation of the city’s tourist attractions that are dynamic.
Paula then said that Lisbon was aiming to achieve greater heights of success by planning investments in various arenas and building new strategies that enable it to attain excellence in its tourism industry.
Lisbon, based between Atlantic Ocean and Tagus River is really renowned thanks to its bustling night life, delicious food, spectacular architecture and a unique old-world charm.
The Travel Media Awards is the one and only awards event wherein the media associated to the tourism sector is permitted to take part and vote. TravelMedia in Ireland had organized the 2016 Travel Media Awards that is the sixth annual awards event. DIT or Tourist Department of Dublin Institute of Technology supervises the voting procedure of this awards event.
