As India is well-known for its huge tourism potential worldwide, a group of young enthusiast from Kerala along with the aid of state Tourism Department is planning to search and explore live streaming and its impact on tourism as a major campaign tool for the upcoming second edition of International Conference on Tourism Technology (ICTT) in Kochi.
A three-day event at the Le Meridien Hotel from June 8th to 10th will be organized with the help of Tourism Trade Organization (ATTOI) along with the support of Kerala Tourism.
To quote ATTOI President Anish Kumar PK, ‘Technology has become an essential part of tourism industry. Unlike other social media tools, we have noticed that the live feeds are getting more traction. It is intimate, engaging, bespoke and authentic than any other form of tourism destination promotions.’ ATTOI, as a curtain raiser to an international conference, prepared a live streaming underwater engagement show at beach resorts in last December.
It was an exceptional offering of Kerala Tourism. The world watched this exclusive video with over 25 lakh viewership that was streamed live from the beach resort of Kovalam.
