The 30th anniversary edition of the esteemed awards was presented before an audience of almost 500 industry representatives. The 10 Hunter-based title-holders were among 75 recipients who were awarded at Sydney’s Four Seasons Hotel on 15th November.
The Australian Reptile Park, Somersby, Oakvale Wildlife Park, Salt Ash, Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, Moonshadow – TQC Cruises, Nelson Bay, were among many others presented with awards. These awards represent quality tourism and leadership in innovation, marketing and delivery of quality products and services.
Moonshadow – TQC Cruises team grabbed the top honors in Major Tour and/or Transport Operators category for the third year consecutively.
Other top awardees were the Reptile Park, the Port Stephens 4WD Tours and Macquarie 4 Star.
Most category winners will go on to the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Canberra in March 2020.
Guest speaker Stuart Ayres, the Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney, congratulated all winners.
