The Scottish airline’s deal with Travelport can now promote the inventory of branded content and ancillaries to the 180 countries connected via Travelport.
The deal with Travelport will further strengthen the airline’s revenue through additional ancillary sales taking place via the GDS. Travelport’s rich content and branding technology will be beneficial to the Loganair.
Amadeus and Sabre will allow the users of the two services to view the number of seats that is available for booking and the passengers can act accordingly.
The commercial director at Loganair, Kay Ryan mentioned that the agreement and partnership with Travelport will provide advanced operations for Loganair.
Loganair will be striking out its franchise agreement with Flybe on September 1.
It is expected to fly under the Loganair Brand and will enter a codeshare agreement with the British Airways (BA).
