The World Food Travel Association (WFTA) has announced that its new FoodTreX brand is about to be unveiled for its food travel conference series and also its new Food Travel Innovation Summit that had taken place in London on Sunday, November 4.
The FoodTreX brand had been established as the umbrella brand for the Association’s food and beverage travel trade sales.
Erik Wolf who is the Association Executive Director for FoodTreX brand mentioned that there was a requirement to unite their event brands. He then went on to add that over the last 12 months they had produced events in Spain, Australia and Greece as their popular Online Food Travel Summit.
He also added that they had more planned, including Nepal and Singapore.
FoodTreX stands for ‘Food Travel Experience’. The formula of FoodTreX events marks a single day of talks on topics that are relevant to the host market and delivered by food, beverage, travel and hospitality sector experts.
FoodTreX events can focus on specific regions (Spain, Greece, Australia), specific topics (FoodTreX London | Food Travel Innovation Summit) or can also be held online (FoodTreX Global | Online Food Travel Summit).
The next FoodTreX event would be FoodTreX London | Food Travel Innovation Summit, which will take place on Sunday, November 4 at the Grange St. Paul’s Hotel at 10 Godliman Street in London. The purpose of the Food Travel Innovation Summit is to highlight innovative, complex and unusual case studies, technologies and business processes that can help our industry’s stakeholders to gain a competitive edge in business.
