The outdoor glass slide is scary enough to send a chill down the spine of any thrill seeker.
The Skyslide connects US Bank Tower’s 69th story to the observation deck of the OUE Skyspace LA. The slide was fixed in May and is about to let the tourists get their go on 25th June.
The Skyslide is 45 feet long and four feet wide. The best part about the Skyslide is that it is constructed entirely with one and a quarter inches thick see-through glass panels.
$50 million has been spent on the building makeover project by the building owner, OUE Ltd. The slide is just one part of the entire makeover project.
The observation deck at the end of the slide will give the tourists a panoramic view of the city of LA, spanning from San Fernando Valley to Santa Catalina Island.
A new bar is also being opened at the 70th floor of the tallest building in LA, along with the Skyslide and the observation deck.
Tourists will have to pay $33 to get the Adrenalin rush in the new glass Skyslide.
