Luxury Hotels Group opens India office Mr. Naresh Chandnani appointed as Regional Director – Asia

Luxury HotelLuxury Hotels Group is extending its global hospitality marketing and distribution network with the opening of a new office in New Delhi, India, its first in this rapidly expanding and an extremely critical market.

 

 

India’s economy is on the fulcrum of an ever increasing growth curve. The country is probably the fastest growing outbound travel market in the world, thereby, offering enormous potential for current & sustained future growth in outbound travel. In 2014, approximately 20 Million Indians will be travelling overseas. According to UNWTO predictions, India will account for over 50 Million outbound tourists by 2020.

 

 

Hospitality industry veteran Naresh Chandnani has been appointed Regional Director – Asia, to establish the dedicated vision.  Naresh has over 25 years of hospitality experience spanning operations, sales & marketing and strategic business & brand development. He is very widely travelled and has worked in an international environment, besides having a thorough knowledge of the Indian Leisure, Corporate & MICE markets.  He was recently ranked as among the 100 most influential people in the Indian Hospitality Industry for 2013 by the prestigious Hotelier India magazine.

 

 

His hospitality career includes thirteen years with TAJ Hotels & Palaces, three years with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, three years with Worldhotels and over seven years launching IHHR Hospitality (The owning and the managing company for the highly acclaimed spa resort Ananda-In the Himalayas, ISTA Hotels in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Pune & Ahmedabad & Shanti Ananda Maurice, Mauritius) as their Group Vice President Sales and Marketing.
