The Madhya Pradesh government is aiming high-quality investments in tourism. The government is thinking of bringing branded chain of hotels and adventure tourism in the state and is offering attractive subsidies on new projects introducing ropeways and hot air balloons at tourist spots.

The government is also thinking of offering 20 to 30% subsidy to branded hotels and resorts on land and building if they invest in the state. They are also planning to offer 50% subsidy on hot air balloon projects and 40% on ropeways as per tourism department sources.

The MP government is promoting tourism and a special session is on the agenda on the day of investors meet on October 18. Tourism features among the 8 core sectors that would be discussed at the summit. The state is also considering promoting wayside amenities for tourists.
