Magical Kenya Travel Expo was hosted by the Kenya Tourism Board. This event attracted international buyers as well as local and regional exhibitors alike targeting the interested candidates building their brand names. The main aim of this event is to raise the profile of the country which made it an important and influential platform for tourism networking and business transactions.
Kenya’s capital city Nairobi witnessed a lot of activity from late September till the first week of this month for this expo, which saw stakeholders drop in from all corners of the world. In its 8th edition, MKTE achieved increased business engagements and in-depth networking sessions. This tourism show delighted all exhibitors, industry specialists, hosting buyers, trade visitors and the locals. The expo is the largest of its kind in East Africa. In his opening speech at the expo, cabinet secretary for wildlife and tourism Hon. Najib Balala assured all stakeholders that Kenya is safe for travelling and major reforms are to ease seamless travel connectivity along with Visa and arrival arrangements for visitors.
