Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had announced measures on 16 March 2020 to restrict movement nationwide which started  from 18 March till 31 March 2020, in a bid to stem the rising number of coronavirus cases.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Malaysian Government announced on 18 March 2020 that the Visit Malaysia Year 2020 tourism campaign has been cancelled.

The nationwide movement restrictions to further stem the spread of the coronavirus have been extended from 31 March to 14 April 2020  because the infections have not reduced as declared by the Government.

Until 30 June 2020 all activities, conferences, assemblies and annual general meetings should be postponed.

Considering the Government’s advisory the company has decided to postpone the Malaysia Tourism & Travel Mart (MTTM) 2020 which was originally scheduled to take place at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 18 – 20 June 2020.
