Guests are welcomed with classic Chinese tea in the luxurious Club Marina Bay Suite and presented with captivating reading on the art of Chinese gastronomy, a prelude to the culinary adventure the next morning.
Led by Executive Chinese Chef Cheng Hon Chau, guests will tour the Chinatown Wet Market and be immersed in its rich cultural heritage while getting a glimpse into the tapestry of Singaporean life. Guests will experience the wide selection of dried goods, exotic spices and traditional Chinese ingredients, as Chef Cheng enlightens on preparation methods. After a delightful day of exploration, guests will try their hand at making their own dim sum in the elegant and refined interiors of Cherry Garden. To complete the experience, a sumptuous brunch awaits, featuring bites of signature dim sum. A Chinese cookbook with easy recipes to create at home concludes the gourmet trail.
