The new programs at Fort State Park of Prickett have helped to attract both local and out-of-town interest this year. ‘African American Spiritual of the West Virginia Frontier” is the major programme in Fairmount.
This year, 2017, marked the first time the program was held at Prickett’s Fort, and it brought in people from all over the state as well as outside of West Virginia’s borders. Bray said Prickett’s Fort State Park will witness that there are 17,000 to 18,000 people visit the historic area of the park.
According to the official of Palatine Park they have spent the past four years, focusing on the activities and entertainment. Palatine Park is also focusing on the new features for amusement.
Fairmont city has its potentiality to appeal the tourists from all parts of the world. The amusement and entertainment arena of this city is fostering tourism.
Along with the construction of the boat ramp and the kayak and canoe launch will be the new addition in the Fairmount.
With a large variety of planned events throughout the season, Palatine Park has the first water ski show since the 1970’s in Fairmont.
The amusement parks are responsible for the promotion of Marion County and its attractions to outsiders but then management also want the locals to know about the responsible tourism for the sustainability.
