The Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA) will enter a multi-market campaign collaboration with Thomas Cook to promote destination across Europe.
The multi-channel media offered by Cook will bring about a global exposure to Jerusalem and increase visitation by showcasing what the city has to offer.
The campaign will promote a modern and vibrant city emerging from its ancient and ever-present history.
People creating a modern life like the mixologists, bakers, artists, techies and restaurateurs who are responsible for creating a modern life within a truly ancient city will be featured in the photographic and video content campaign.
The campaign will be targeted at affluent travel groups travelling either as couples or in groups. The campaign will be activated across Cook’s online social, direct and in-store channels.
There will be significant trade market presence of Modern Ancient Life that will inform agents in the capital’s cuisine, art, culture and nightlife and other traditional historical and religious associations.
Ilanit Melchior, tourism director of the JDA, said that he was delighted to launch the new partnership with Thomas Cook which has a global reach. It will help in reaching out to tens of thousands of potential travellers who are looking for an adventurous break and will see Jerusalem as a vibrant destination.
