Marriott Rewards, the award-winning loyalty program of Marriott International, Inc, today announces an official partnership with multi-platinum Universal Music Group artists, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, as they embark on their summer-long ‘Honda Civic Tour: Future Now.’
Marriott Rewards is providing members with exclusive #WithTheBand experiences through its new Experiences Marketplace, where members can redeem points for VIP meet and greets with Demi and Nick, as well as premium concert venue seats.Marriott Rewards’ sponsorship of the ‘Honda Civic Tour: Future Now’ is the latest expansion of its partnership with global music leader, UMG, that launched in June of last year. In addition to tickets and meet and greets, fans will have opportunities to engage with exclusive Demi and Nick content – including artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage – on Marriott Rewards’ digital and social channels. In addition, Marriott’s portfolio of hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton, EDITION, JW Marriott, Renaissance and Marriott Hotels, will serve as the preferred hotel choice for Demi and Nick throughout the tour.
The Buzz Marketing & Partnerships team at Marriott, responsible for the successful South by Southwest® (SXSW®) 2016 Music and Conference Festival sponsorship and artist showcase in partnership with UMG at the JW Marriott Austin earlier this year, is kicking off a series of Pop-Up Ice Cream Trucks in key markets along the tour. The truck, which launched June 28th in Atlanta, GA, will keep fans cool with specialty flavored treats including Lovato’s “What’s Wrong with Being Coconut?”, Jonas’ “Last Year was Bananas”, and Marriott’s “Marriott Rewards Mango.” Follow @MarriottRewards, @NickJonas and @DDlovato on Twitter for more information on where the truck will show up, and for updates on Demi and Nick’s travel experiences with Marriott Rewards throughout the tour.
