The thieves were all clad in black in at least two vehicles close to Charles de Gaulle airport and robbed the Moroccan, American and French tourist of their luggage and also their personal belongings on Saturday.
Hotels close to the airport and also along the motorway leading to Charles de Gaulle and Le Bourget that is the busiest private jet airport of Europe are often targeted by thieves and burglars. The tourists were attacked outside the Novotel located in Roissey-en-France by the masked assailants.
The local news media stated that the ‘evildoers’ are currently still on the run.
Last year, about six assailants had sprayed tear gas on some Chinese tourists outside a hotel near the airport and escaped with all their luggage. In November 2016, two Qatari tourists leaving Le Bourget in a Bentley travelling to Paris had been attacked and the thieves ran away with jewellery worth $5.7 as well as clothing.
In February, a Russian couple was robbed off jewellery and luxury goods worth about $113,000 on the same stretch of motorway.
