Mechanical trouble on board a jetliner of American Airlines was forced to return to the gate at Logan Airport of Boston and four people had to be transferred to hospitals for medical evaluation as per the account of an airline spokesman.
The passengers who were on board American flight 1719 had reported an odor in the cabin before the plane was scheduled to leave for Charlotte, North Carolina as per Matt Miller who is a spokesman for the airlines.
This plane was an Airbus A319.
It had returned to the gate and three flight attendants and a passenger had to be taken to hospitals as per Miller. He did not know their conditions.
The airliner was taken out of service because of a mechanical issue that is currently being investigated, he said. The rest of the passengers were placed on an alternative flight and were flown to Charlotte.
Flight 1719 was scheduled to travel from Boston to Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday afternoon.
But then it was compelled to return to Boston airport gate and evacuate after its passengers suddenly noticed an odor inside the cabin.
