Mechanical issue prompts emergency landing of United Airlines

United AirlinesA flight of United Airlines was forced to return back to San Francisco International Airport on account of a serious mechanical issue, according to an airport official.

 

The United Airlines Flight 1721 was on its way to Kona International Airport in the region of Hawaii when it suddenly turned around and went straightaway for the emergency landing.

 

Maggie Schmerin who is the official spokeswoman of the airliner said that a certain mechanical issue was responsible for the emergency landing of the aircraft.

 

The plane had landed safely around 10.30 a.m. and another airplane was going to be utilized t take the passengers on their trip. This plane was expected to depart around 1 p.m. Pacific Time, as declared by Schmerin.
