Quotes attributable to Mr Lyell Strambi, CEO Melbourne Airport:
“I was thrilled to join Melbourne Airport last year and to return home to Melbourne after several years overseas and interstate. After a busy few months, I’m looking forward to working with our airline customers, contractors and suppliers to deliver an even better airport for Victorians and visitors in 2016.”

“Victoria is Australia’s capital of major events and sporting entertainment. Summer is the highlight of the year with The Boxing Day Test, the Big Bash League and The Australian Open all taking place.  We look forward to working with Visit Victoria and other tourism leaders to maintain this title and bring even more visitors to our wonderful state.”

“Last year was a significant year for Melbourne Airport with the opening of key new infrastructure investments, including a new domestic terminal, to facilitate the growth of our airline customers. I would like to thank Jetstar, Tigerair, and Regional Express for their assistance through what has been an amazingly smooth transition to the wonderful new T4 facility.”
