Melbourne Cable Park to generateMelbourne Cable Park, home to Melbourne’s first full size cable systems, will generate tourism, create jobs and increase liveability in the fast-growing south-eastern suburbs.

Melbourne Cable Park recently opened its Aqua Fun Park in January, employing 58 staff, with plans to add up to 30 more in the coming months.

The Cable Park will offer on-water and off-water outdoor recreational activities for all ages, regardless of experience.

Facilities and activities planned to operate at the cable park include kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding and the Aqua Fun Park. For on-road activities there’s high ropes adventure challenge courses with over 90 graded challenge activities, and fitness track.

A central reception area, café and viewing balconies add to the fun. There’s also function and exhibition spaces.

The Cable Park is being developed to be an energy-efficient facility and will use very little electricity to operate.
