Merlin is ready for a series of new theme park openings overseas

MerlinMerlin Entertainments who is the proud owner of visitor attraction centres including the Alton Towers of the United Kingdom has declared a series of brand new international opening for this month.


They comprise a new Legoland discovery centre in Melbourne that is based in Australia, the company’s eighth Legoland in Japan that is the second-biggest theme park in the world, a Legoland site in Philadelphia, a Beach Retreat in Florida and a Madame Tussauds in Nashville in the United States.


The chief new openings officer at Merlin who is John Jakobsen said that it is truly an exciting month with three new tourist attractions across key geographies in the US and Australia and this includes the 13th attraction in Australia.


He went on to add that they were well on their way to achieving their 2020 milestones and also have been ushering new experiences to the guests in new places around the world.


Recently, the group has opened the Knight’s Lodge at Warwick Castle in England.
